Faculty of Escola Municipal Elza Oliveira de Carvalho visits Instituto Neymar Jr.

The Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr. received, this Monday (18), the visit of the teaching staff of Escola Municipal Elza Oliveira de Carvalho, one of the seven schools in Praia Grande served by the project. The Coordinator and Educators of Elza Soares came to understand, up close, how the work carried out by the INJR in the educational and educational areas works, as well as the assistance in the psychological, social and health areas.

The Institute’s Social Worker, Lidiane Silva de Oliveira, says that the school requested the tour so that employees could understand how the project works. “We took a tour of the space and they were very happy to know about the project”, he says. For Lidiane, the exchange between the school and the INJR is very important, as both must work side by side for the development of children and adolescents. “It is important for them to know about the project because, as we are partners, the school needs to know what is happening in our environment. How is the work done with children, who are the same children assisted by them. The network has to be together with us because, in fact, the Institute is prevention”, comments the social worker.

Lidiane also reinforces that the strengthening of the partnership between Instituto Neymar Jr. and schools is what makes the difference when it comes to assisting students. “Working together is essential for us to be able to take these families out of social vulnerability and provide a more pleasant environment for the children”, she concludes.

Christiane Maria Spanol de Camargo Pereira, director of the Elza Oliveira de Carvalho Municipal School, also emphasizes the importance of this alliance. “The partnership with the Institute is very important, they really like it. For us it is very gratifying because, every day, they go to school and are waiting to come to Instituto Neymar. Children and families always show great interest in participating in the Institute”, he says. The coordinator also emphasizes the access to health care that the INJR is concerned with providing for the children and adolescents served. “What they [the Institute] are doing for them is very important, for them to develop”.

Child and Youth Development Educator Márcia Maria de Siqueira was in the project for the first time and shared that she felt proud. “I thought it was really cool, the service, the education. And I was happy that the city of Praia Grande had the institute to bring good things to our children”. Márcia also values the playful teaching adopted by the INJR, which captures the students’ interest. “It is of great value for children to have contact with other children and to be able to have unsystematic learning, which is not just the content given in the classroom. In addition to sports, this unsystematic learning of sociability is extremely important, it makes them grow a lot”, completes the educator.

The Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr. serves seven municipal schools and impacts, directly and indirectly, more than 10 thousand people in the city of Praia Grande.
