No dia 25 de Março demos início oficialmente a 2ª turma do projeto Jovens Tripulantes, que irá formar 120 alunos do Instituto Neymar Jr. acima de 18 anos para trabalharem em navios de cruzeiro pelo mundo na temporada 2022/2023. A parceria de capacitação profissional com o INJR envolve as empresas Deck4, Litoral Plaza Shopping, ISMBR e Costa Crociere.
Durante cerimônia realizada no auditório do Instituto Neymar Jr, o novo grupo de jovens foi apresentado aos representantes das empresas parceiras do programa de formação. O grupo assistiu a uma palestra inaugural para a partir dessa última semana de março dar início às aulas preparatórias.
O Diretor Financeiro do INJR, Altamiro Bezerra, conta que o Jovens Tripulantes é uma oportunidade de continuidade para os jovens que se tornaram adultos dentro do Instituto e entendem o poder de transformação dos benefícios do projeto. “São jovens da comunidade, jovens que vão transformar esse ambiente, que vão se capacitar a partir desse momento e terão uma oportunidade de transformar suas vidas. E, transformando as suas vidas, eles vão transformar a vida da Praia Grande, transformar a vida do país. E, sobretudo, se desenvolver como seres humanos”.
Para Fabrício Brito, Founder da Deck4, esse primeiro encontro foi apenas o pontapé inicial para as próximas oportunidades. “Hoje eles tiveram a oportunidade de se encontrar com os empregadores e, também, receber as mensagens diretamente da Itália, dos responsáveis pelos setor de recrutamento da frota da Costa Crociere, que é a nossa grande parceira nessa iniciativa. E eles já vem de semanas de uma preparação, focada no desenvolvimento humano, para que eles possam, agora, adquirir esse conhecimento mais técnico dentro da plataforma com professores internacionais e que vai qualificá-los, realmente, para o trabalho pesado que eles vão enfrentar dentro dos navios”, conta.
A CEO da parceira ISMBR, Carolina Coelho Nunes, tem certeza que o projeto vai ser um sucesso, assim como o ano passado. “A gente está muito feliz com o número de jovens, que aumentou bastante”. E ainda deixa um recado para o perfil que a empresa procura: “Nós, da ISMBR e Costa Crociere, esperamos jovens guerreiros, que consigam se qualificar bem e que sejam um sucesso à bordo. Nós queremos tripulantes a bordo com carreira, então, a gente espera que esses jovens possam ser nossos olhos e nosso sucesso à bordo”.
O Sócio do Grupo Peralta, Julio Peralta, tem altas expectativas para a nova etapa do projeto. “Ver a segunda turma se formando é uma alegria enorme. A primeira turma deu certo, 100% da turma embarcou. E ver essa nova turma agora, com 120 jovens interessados em fazer o curso é muito gostoso. A gente vê todo mundo que está embarcado agora chegando na Europa, então são portas que se abrem. Conhecendo novas culturas, conhecendo novas línguas, tendo uma experiência de vida que, talvez, eles não teriam. A expectativa é que essa turma faça o mesmo”.
Para o aluno Alex Santchaltcik, de 19 anos, o clima é de ansiedade e vontade de fazer valer a pena. “Eu não vejo a hora de começar esse projeto, está sendo maravilhoso, eu estou aprendendo muita coisa. A expectativa está sendo maravilhosa para essa oportunidade que o Instituto está nos dando. Vou aproveitar muito essa oportunidade e eu desejo estar, esse ano, embarcado”.
Para João Henrique Rodrigues Sucinad, de 20 anos, o projeto é uma oportunidade para mudar a vida da família. “O principal motivo de eu participar desse projeto é ajudar a minha família. Infelizmente é só o meu pai que trabalha eu moro de aluguel e, se Deus quiser, eu vou terminar o contrato e comprar uma casa para eles, porque eles merecem. Eu tenho muito orgulho dos meus pais e eu quero dar muito orgulho para eles também e mudar de vida. E, com certeza, essa é uma oportunidade única que Deus colocou na minha vida que eu vou aproveitar”. João conta, também, que o INJR foi essencial para construir esse sonho que, sem o projeto, não seria possível ter essa chance.
A aluna Maria Eduarda Santos da Silva, de 17 anos, enxerga o Jovens Tripulantes como uma chance de investir no futuro profissional. “É uma oportunidade de melhorar o meu futuro e poder, mais para frente, criar meus projetos e realizar muitos sonhos. E, se não fosse o Instituto, eu não teria essa oportunidade. Desde que eu sou aluna aqui eu tive muitas oportunidades, mas essa, sem dúvidas, é a maior oportunidade que a gente está tendo aqui dentro do projeto e eu estou muito ansiosa e espero que dê tudo certo e só agradeço ao Instituto e a Deck4 por essa oportunidade”.
Idealizado pela Deck4, maior plataforma de educação à distância para formação de tripulantes de navios do planeta, o Jovens Tripulantes conta com o apoio de empresas como a Shelter Cursos, responsável pelo treinamento de STCW (Curso Básico de Segurança de Navio); a ISMBR, agência de recrutamento e seleção das principais armadoras do mundo.
A parceria entre INJR e Deck4 teve início em agosto de 2021 com a 1ª turma de ex-alunos com idades a partir de 18 anos que passaram pelo Instituto desde 2015. Entre novembro e dezembro, cerca de 70 jovens embarcaram nos navios Costa Fascinosa e Costa Diadema para darem início em suas carreiras a bordo. Agora em abril os alunos que estão embarcados no Costa Fascinosa iniciam a temporada europeia começando a rota por Barcelona, na Espanha.
Capacitação
Após seletivo, os jovens darão início ao curso on-line. Em até seis meses, os alunos serão qualificados nas principais especialidades de tripulante de navio de passageiros, inclusive com ênfase no inglês, com aulas ministradas por diretores, gerentes, supervisores e tripulantes da indústria dos cruzeiros. Durante todo o processo, os jovens também terão aulas e encontros virtuais com profissionais experientes da área de psicologia e orientação vocacional.
Assim que concluírem os módulos específicos (Formação Profissional, Restaurante, Governança, Cozinha e de Bar, além de um módulo completo sobre COVID-19, com as principais diretrizes e protocolos adotados pelas empresas de cruzeiros de todo o mundo), os jovens farão uma avaliação do aprendizado para qualificação à próxima fase.
Uma equipe de orientadores cuidará de toda a preparação dos alunos para as entrevistas reais de emprego com agências recrutadoras oficiais que representam legalmente as armadoras no Brasil.
Instituto Neymar Jr. starts 2nd Class of the Jovens Tripulantes project in partnership with Deck4
This March 25th the 2nd class of the Jovens Tripulantes project officially started, which will train 120 students from Instituto Neymar Jr. over 18 years old to work on cruise ships around the world in the 2022/2023 season. The professional training partnership with INJR involves the companies Deck4, Litoral Plaza Shopping, ISMBR and Costa Crociere.
During a ceremony held in the auditorium of Instituto Neymar Jr, the new group of young people was introduced to representatives of partner companies in the training program. The group attended an inaugural lecture to start the preparatory classes from this last week of March.
INJR’s Financial Director, Altamiro Bezerra, says that the Jovens Tripulantes is an opportunity for continuity for young people who have become adults within the Institute and understand the transformative power of the project’s benefits. “They are young people from the community, young people who will transform this environment, who will be trained from that moment on and will have an opportunity to transform their lives. And, transforming their lives, they will transform the life of Praia Grande, transform the life of the country. And, above all, to develop as human beings”.
To Fabrício Brito, Founder of Deck4, this first meeting was just the kick-off for the next opportunities. “Today they had the opportunity to meet with employers and also receive messages directly from Italy, from those responsible for the recruitment sector of the Costa Crociere fleet, which is our great partner in this initiative. And they have already been preparing for weeks, focused on human development, so that they can now acquire this more technical knowledge within the platform with international professors and that will really qualify them for the heavy work they will face. inside the ships”, he says.
The CEO of partner ISMBR, Carolina Coelho Nunes, is sure that the project will be a success, just like last year. “We are very happy with the number of young people, which has increased a lot”. And he also leaves a message for the profile that the company is looking for: “We, from ISMBR and Costa Crociere, expect young warriors, who manage to qualify well and who are a success on board. We want career crew members on board, so we hope these young people can be our eyes and our success on board.”
Grupo Peralta’s Partner, Julio Peralta, has high expectations for the new stage of the project. “Seeing the second class graduating is a huge joy. The first class was successful, 100% of the class boarded. And seeing this new group now, with 120 young people interested in taking the course, is very pleasant. We see everyone who is on board now arriving in Europe, so doors are opening. Getting to know new cultures, getting to know new languages, having a life experience that maybe they wouldn’t have. Hopefully this group will do the same.”
The student Alex Santchaltcik, 19, says that the atmosphere is one of anxiety and the desire to make it worthwhile. “I can’t wait to start this project, it’s been wonderful, I’m learning a lot. The expectation is wonderful for this opportunity that the Institute is giving us. I’m going to take this opportunity a lot and I want to be on board this year”.
For João Henrique Rodrigues Sucinad, 20, the project is an opportunity to change the family’s life. “The main reason I participate in this project is to help my family. Unfortunately it’s only my father who works, I live on rent and, God willing, I’ll finish the contract and buy them a house, because they deserve it. I’m very proud of my parents and I want to make them very proud too and change their lives. And, of course, this is a unique opportunity that God has placed in my life that I will take advantage of.” João also says that the INJR was essential to build this dream that, without the project, it would not have been possible to have this chance.
Student Maria Eduarda Santos da Silva, 17, sees Jovens Tripulantes members as a chance to invest in her professional future. “It’s an opportunity to improve my future and to be able, later on, to create my projects and fulfill many dreams. And if it wasn’t for the Institute, I wouldn’t have this opportunity. Since I’m a student here I’ve had many opportunities, but this, without a doubt, is the biggest opportunity that we are having here within the project and I am very anxious and hope that everything works out and I just thank the Institute and Deck4 for this opportunity”.
Conceived by Deck4, the largest distance education platform for training ship crews on the planet, Jovens Tripulantesw members has the support of companies such as Shelter Cursos, responsible for STCW (Basic Ship Safety Course) training; ISMBR, the recruitment and selection agency for the world’s leading shipowners.
The partnership between INJR and Deck4 began in August 2021 with the 1st class of alumni aged 18 and over who have been at the Institute since 2015. Between November and December, around 70 young people boarded the Costa Fascinosa and Costa Diadema to start their onboard careers. Now in April, students who are aboard the Costa Fascinosa begin the European season starting the route through Barcelona, Spain.
Training
After selection, young people will start the online course. In up to six months, students will be qualified in the main passenger ship crew specialties, including an emphasis on English, with classes taught by directors, managers, supervisors and crew from the cruise industry. Throughout the process, young people will also have virtual classes and meetings with experienced professionals in the field of psychology and vocational guidance.
As soon as they complete the specific modules (Professional Training, Restaurant, Governance, Kitchen and Bar, in addition to a complete module on COVID-19, with the main guidelines and protocols adopted by cruise companies around the world), young people will make an assessment of learning for qualification to the next phase.
A team of advisors will take care of all the students’ preparation for the real job interviews with official recruiting agencies that legally represent the shipowners in Brazil.
